WOW! Great video! I can't believe it's never been posted before!..lol
I've been trying to dissect many of his licks in this video. Tough but a great learning experience.
As Adam said the first time he posted it a few years back...just don't know if blues harp gets any better in this context..or something to that effect.
It was the video that convinced me not to fear the higher harps. He sure makes this "F" sound very fat.
I appreciate not just the amazing technique, but the way he holds something in restraint at each step along the way, building slowly to an extremely high level of intensity. Few players with that much technique are capable of holding it back and feeding it out slowly like that before finally putting pedal to the metal.
I'm going to find some place to post this particular clip on the website. It deserves a good spot.
I've seen this one posted now and again here, I think I even posted it myself once. This is hands down the BEST high F blues playing that I've heard. I don't think I've heard anyone else that even comes close. Good to see this clip popping up every once in a while. It should be in heavy rotation on youtube. ----------
why on earth would "anyone" attempt a guitar solo after that? sing a verse and get the heck out of there! go back stage have a "safety briefing" come back for the encore, burn the house down! where there's smoke there's fire

Why is he not on tour playing in Alice coopers band or Bruce Springsteens or some famous band that's touring. He had better jump that train while still young enough to get the job done at that caliber of excellence. You would think if Jason sent that video to every big famous band possible and let them know he is ready to deliver the goods, that he would get a shot at blown his horn for the masses...

Jason's playing here reminds me of what Gary Moore might have sounded like had he been a harmonica player. Those two together would have been the ultimate dynamic duo for me.
