Alex was one of many highlights of HCH. Here are a few pics I took of him jamming with Bill Perry's band:

to be sleeping on a picnic table like that alex must have really put himself thru the ringer but its so encouraging that are young folks like him to carry on after some of us(yours truly) have gone to ashes and dustLOLxxxxxx

Looking at these pics he looks like a young Paul Oscher, when Paul first joined Muddy Waters band.

Alex lit it up. Besides his obivous harp skills, he knows his way around a bullet mic pretty well, too.

Also of note is Bill Perry's daughter on keys, visible in the pics above. She swayed and gyrated and smiled the whole time she played-I just couldn't take my eyes off her.

Ah, so you inquired, atty? ;-)

Bill Perry's family band was just a sheer joy to watch and listen to. That's exactly the kind of band you want behind you when you wanna break it down and get a little funky.
