Anyone own one of these. i was given an old one a while ago and after cleaning it up found that its really fun to play. mine is the 8 hole model. it doesn't work very well anymore because it was broken when i got it. im planing on getting a new one soon. i was just wondering what you guys thought about this little chom.

Warm sound and not outrageously expensive. Good enough for the occasional chrom player I think.
I suppose that 'full timers' might go for a more expensive (better quality) chrom.

not a bad first chromatic. i learned on one BUT- if you're planning to get a new one i suggest a 12 holer. the 8 is nice but to me has limitations due to a missing octave. since a lot of chromatics played in blues are 12's, why not get the 12 hole?

note of caution, any chromatic is easily damaged by over drawing in the heat of the moment. since the notes are all available, there is no need to draw hard anyway.
i did move on to better chromatics eventually but if i still had a working chrometta it would be in my case and ready to play.

iv got a big 16 hole chrom, so this would just be for fun and so i wouldn't need to haul the big one around. and iv noticed it feels really good in my hand. got somethings to consider. thanks jbone.
