This might be a bit of stupid question, but here goes. I've only recently started getting blow bends in holes 8-10 and I'm finding it a lot easier to bend by blowing than by drawing. My question is, has anyone tried switching the blow and draw notes in say hole 2 or 3 to see if it is easier to get the different bends in tune? Is there any reason why this wouldn't work as well as draw bending? As far as I can tell, blow bends don't have the same tonal problems as draw bends, although I guess that could just be because of the octave it's operating in.

Haha, if anyone's done that it's probably Brendan Power, but I think BP is more interested in making the top end into draw bends.

I love playing blow bends. I only play one number with a high solo, but I'm gonna add another so I have something to look forward to

Yup, and one thing I've noticed is that even in PowerBender or PowerDraw tuning the top octave bends still sound really good. So maybe it really does have to do with the octave. I have a couple of useless old harps with busted reeds lying around, might just try this to see what it feels like.
