So I'm pretty excited I'm going to finally have my first rig in place this week. Yesterday I got my Joyo J-14 American Sound- Thanks for the recommendation MTG!

I tired it out last night through my PA and after a little learning curve- and watching a little you tube and the settings used I did get a good sound. I think I liked the sound of my Akai DM-13 better over my 545sd at first with it. but I'll experiment.

And Today my VHT special 6 was delivered at my local guitar center so I'll pick up tonight. (got a good price very happy, savin' up coins rocks.)and I have a used DD3 delay I already paid for and is still at GC which ill try out with the amp tonight when I pick it up. I started looking at amps back in Dec trying many, watching videos and getting advice from this forum.

I got a boss RC30 looper in Dec which I had saved up for a while and I've only used a little but will be seeing how I can incorporate that.

And you know what else I got? In my search to put together a harp case (been using a padded laptop case) I called Rockin Ron left a message/he called my right back and I asked him about that bushman foam 9 harmonica holder and ordered it. ($15) Came yesterday and I like it. Harder foam, seems like it should do the trick and just need a case to put it in.

I haven't bought new/used equipment in a while. Can't wait to begin to use it and figure it all out. Ya, I'm excited.

Excellent! Getting new kit is a lot of fun, and a good shot in the arm I find.

That foam case looks handy. I can see it could be used to convert all kinds of cases into dedicated harp cases.

We don't have these kind of riches in the UK. On that subject, the only supplier of Easttop harps that I know of here has stopped selling them. And even then, they only had one model.
