Those who are subscribed to Richard Sleigh's newsletter will already have all the news on this but for those who are not yet aware of Richard's stuff or may have missed the latest, this may be interesting.
I was thinking back on some discussion about reading script {and my intention to make a short video on the topic} and then i saw this little blues scale lesson Richard has produced which has an accompanying sheet laid out in the David Barrett style. Which is to say it has standard music notation and tab. The standard notation is set out as is the harp is a C harp, which is how DB does it. Richard has added the note names for an A harp, which is what he plays om the recording. he has also included the scale degrees.

anyway, this is a cool little exercise (a song really) using only the 'blues scale' notes in 2nd position and i believe can also help people learn to read transcriptions.

its not free but it is cheap and has a money back guarantee so if you dont think its valuable to you, Richard will give your money back and let you keep the lesson since its a download and he cant really take it away once you have bought it.

i sound like i'm spruiking which i dont really mean to do. i just thought the tune was maybe a better, more straightforward insight into reading transcriptions than the idea i had in mind (which i do still intend to do but i struggle with priorities)

anyway, here is a link to the page where you can get the lesson:
