Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the VOX British bull dog harmonica made by Suzuki, just wondering if they are any good for the price.

Thanks

I haven't tried the British Bulldog but did buy two of the Vox VCH-2 Continentals (the red ones with the full length covers) I could have just been unlucky but I didn't rate them as they were not responsive enough for me even after adjusting the gaps of the reeds.
I was disappointed as I own a lot of Suzukis so was expecting good harps. The best Suzukis I have bought are the Harpmaster which are very good value and sound great.

Been looking at the green one sounds good in the demo video. I'm tempted but still in two minds.

The Vox is a Manji. It even says, MADE BY SUZUKI, JAPAN on the back of the comb. I got the green one – British Spirt. It has a black composite comb, like the Suzuki Olive and the covers look to have the same finish as Olive covers – except they are Manji Covers. The reed plates are definitely Manji reed plates. They are about the same price as Manjis, so I guess if you want a Manji with a black comb and tinted covers, this is a good choice. It plays nice – like a Manji, because that’s what it is.

Cheers Tom, I kinda figured it was a Manji but wasn't sure if they had altered the tuning. You've cleared that up for me. Might get one.
