I was searching through an old reddit thread and someone mentioned you could access Overblow.com through the Wayback Machine. I don't know the story why overblow stopped being around but it's gone but not forgotten, and still accessible in archived form. I don't know if the owner wants to try to get it back up. Someone clever could probably pull down the HTML and get it back up fairly easy with his permission.

That was a great site. Pity to see it gone.

That worked--thanks Nate!
The Scale Finder is a great resource.
Think I will email Tinus and ask if he wants it restored in another web page.
Not that I know how to do that . . .

Edit: I sent him a link to this thread. That I know how to do.

Now it's back to tuning harmonicas.

to me

"Hi Gary,

thanks for the link. I have been thinking about restoring the page but the whole thing is painful in a way.

I have developed severe hyperacusis (a oversensitivity to sound) during the past year which means that I can't play anymore. Because of that my motivation to fix stuff is lacking a little. An added problem is that I promised to adjust the scalefinder to fix some copyright stuff that is wrong in the old version but that is a lot of work that I am not looking forward to, so that doesn't help at all."

Bad news all around . . .

Might even ask Adam... I have no idea if our software would support some of the code but if Adam wanted we could check.
