"Satan & Adam" will be screening in St. Louis on Friday, Nov. 9. I have no further info at this point, but if you live in the region, please save the date. I'll be there.

Do you know when it will be available to stream or download somewhere? Also please keep letting us know where it is showing. If it is anywhere within an hour or so of my house I'll definitely go. Fayetteville AR, Tulsa OK, or Springfield MO.

@Adam: Woot! I will put that on my calendar and will alert my STL area blues harp enthusiast buddies.

@SweetBlood: NW Arkansas was my former stomping ground. The band I played with in those days (the Groove Kings) was the original house band at the Bayou Club in Rogers. I think that place still exists...

SweetBlood: The documentary is in a curious and extended phase right now. The director (Scott Balcerek), the production company that picked it up and helped finish it over the past several years (Kennedy Marshall; google 'em), and the sales company (Cargo), are trying to sell it to a distributor. All of them expected it to have been purchased by now, since it has shown at a very big film festival (Tribeca) and a number of other big film festivals.

But it's been a very strange year for documentaries, which is to say, almost none of them shown at the major festivals (Sundance, Tribeca, and Toronto) have sold AT those festivals or immediately after, as is the usual way.

So they keep on working it. But until they sell it, it won't be available for streaming or downloading. Right now, seeing it at a festival is the only way to see it.
