Adam - that -4’ -4 -4’ -3 -2 -2 riff turns up in a fair amount of your paid lessons - St. Louis Blues and Born in Chicago to name two. I always find it tricky to play clean & fast, especially in the middle of those two great songs. This video is real useful as a means to practice the riff - especially since you add the flat 7 at the beginning. Thanks.

Sundancer: Yes, you're quite right. I overuse that riff--because it's a great riff! I stole it from Butterfield: "Driftin' and Driftin'," the live version on GOLDEN BUTTER.
