So many great shows.
Whenever I see Charlie McCoy I know I'm in the presence of a true legend, what else can I say.

Chris Bauer and PT Gazell. Great Jazz performance Diatonic and Chromatic together.

Flip Jers is an amazing Chromatic and Diatonic player.

Jason Rosenblatt is an incredible Diatonic player. Great chops with an individual style.

Rob Paparozzi is double threat on Diatonic and Chromatic. He's also a great singer. Great show total professional.

Susan Sauter great classical performer. Great tone and flawless execution.

Howard Levy became a classical performer with Susan. They performed Bartok and Vivaldi in captivating performance. At times the harmonicas sounded like traditional Baroque Instruments. I asked Susan about this and she agreed.

There is much more I hope some one else will chime in.

Cheryl Arena is the one that surprised me. KILLER tone! Filisko & Noden were their usual great selves. Levy and Paparozi were what you would expect from seasoned pros. Zoe Savage was captivating as well. And I didn't know Richard Sleigh could sing that well!

I really enjoyed John Long last year and now this year at SPAH.

This video is from a different festival, but you get the idea...

+1 on Cheryl Arena. She absolutely killed at the Blues Blowoff Tuesday night and was better to my ears in that setting than at the official SPAH show on the night they had Charlie McCoy. I think the Blowoff backing band was much more of a blues band.

Also, I was impressed by Will Wilde and was glad I had a chance to hear him play music in a live setting as he really comes across better that way vs. his youtube videos.

Finally, I saw Mike Caldwell play at a church event post-SPAH while he was still in town and was inspired by the joy and fun he has making music and playing the harp. Not to mention his playing is very musical and interesting in addition to his impressive speed.
