I picked up a new but discounted Line 6 Micro Spider for $99 five or more years back. The guitar input didn't work very well with harp even on "clean" except at minimum gain, otherwise it was feedback time. Actually, the vocal mic input worked better for me than the guitar input.
The amp developed the odd habit of having all effects on full when I turned it on, requiring that I move all the knobs to get it to settle down and work right.
Still, it is the only battery amp I have, and I keep it just in case I have need of battery powered amplification.
I realize that you are discussing a larger amp, but I found that the gain structure made my Micro Spider touchy for harp. ----------
