Hi,

I would like to know if you can list the most important songs about tech and groove in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th positions.

For example, in the second position I can say juke!!

Many thanks, bye!

I'll get the ball rolling for 1st, 3rd and 4th, assuming that you have in mind tunes played on a diatonic harmonica. Other members with more experience will probably offer alternatives, but that's a (subjective -- what's the definition of emblematic in this case?) start.

3rd: George Smith - Telephone Blues
1st: La Cucaracha - Big Walter Horton
4th: Charlie Musselwhite - Azul Para Amparo

For first on the upper end, there are of course tons of examples from Jimmy Reed, but I'd say that "Honest I Do" is the one that comes to my mind first.

Hi,

thanks Simon. Yes, "emblem song", like "iconic", very important for the harmonica's world. Thanks for your options.

Bye
