Here's one of the first videos from a gig I did this past Saturday night at the Regent Theater in Arlington, MA and it was the 11th Annual Blues After Hours Benefit Show (this was a long time radio show that was hosted by the late Blues DJ Mai Craimer who passed away from cancer many years ago).
The bill included Luther Guitar Junior Johnson, The Hypnotics featuring members of the Willie J> Laws Band and Sugar Ray And The Blue Tones, Michelle Willson, Racky Thomas, and also a guy who wrote the autobiography of BB King, Mr. Charles Sawyer, who is also a harp player.
When I got some details about the gig, I was told that because there were going to be many more harp players around and so the notice was to be prepared if necessary to do it more like Junior Wells or James Cotton and go thru the PA, but there were a few spare amps on hand and to answer any upcoming gearhead questions here's the deal:
I'm using my own JT30 that I got from Rod Piazza about 25 years ago (a good MC-151 crystal in it) with the 5meg pot, but the amp isn't my own at all. It's a Blues Junior and this is the setup I used: MASTER VOLUME -- 12 (which turns that circuit off) TREBLE -- completely turned off MIDDLE -- 3-4 BASS -- 6-7 VOLUME -- 3 REVERB -- 2
Everything is miked thru the PA.
The harp I'm using on this is a 10-year-old Seydel 1847 in A played in E with 5 & 9 draw tuned 25 cents flat so that it's in 7 limit just intonation, but other than that, it's totally out of the box.

@Philosofy -- Thanks, man! Not surprising that you say the because since that picture was taken, in the last few years, I've dropped 70 lbs. of weight and many of those musicians that I mentioned who were on this show that I hadn't seen in quite some time had a hard time recognizing me, including my old boss, Luther Guitar Junior Johnson as well.
@Sundancer -- George Carlin!! ROTFLMAO!!!!!!
This entire show had exactly ZERO rehearsal time done but when you're around REAL pros who know their stuff cold, it's almost unnecessary. The stage volume was nice and comfortable with nobody playing loud and thank goodness the sound people didn't have everything blaring so loud thru the monitors like it was a rock venue seating at least 5,000 people because that would make my ears hurt like hell and risk a possible feedback nightmare.
I'm glad you all enjoyed this little snippet. There may be more video available on YT about this show. ---------- Sincerely, Barbeque Bob Maglinte Boston, MA http://www.barbequebob.com CD available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bbmaglinte
Here's some more from that show. Here I'm playing in Bb using a 10-year-old Seydel 1847 Low Eb harp and doing an Albert King tune called Let's Have A Natural Ball with more of a T-Bone Walker groove to it:
