The first half of this video demonstrates the Seydel 1847 version of a Richter-tuned SlipSlider. It was a trickier one to design than Hohner, because of Seydel's wider hole spacing.

There is also a demo of the optional 4-hole octave splits on both blow and draw breaths in Richter tuning - tongue-blockers could find that interesting!

The second part shows a new variant of the SlipSlider for regular-breath tunings like PowerDraw, PowerBender, Wholetone etc, where the draw note is always higher than the blow in every hole.

As with the Richter version, the PowerDraw/PowerBender SlipSlider 'fills in the gaps' to give full chromaticism on a diatonic harp using draw and blow bending. However, unlike half-valving, it doesn't interfere with overblows, which can be used side by side with the new bends.

My preference is PowerBender, which is a nice combination. The already good universal draw bending expression of PB is augmented by new blow bends that give the same soul on the normally unbendable blow notes. Here it's shown for the Seydel 1847, but I will extend it to Lucky 13 in time.

The comb for this SlipSlider variant has a regular pattern, reflecting the uniform breath pattern of the tunings it's designed for. It would also work great with Wholetone tuning (CD-EF#-G#A# repeated) and another one I like a lot, Paddy Richter Extended (the bottom octave of Paddy Richter duplicated up the harp). Diminished would not work well however, as you wouldn't gain any new blow bends.
