Times are changing and good for him. I recall Musselwhite winning a few years in a row and how unfair it seemed to me. Charlies great but really......

Congrats, Jason! I'm kicking myself now for not having driven up to Memphis and attended this year. Next year!

Jason,
I enjoyed spending time with you at your Winter Park CO performance as well as the workshop out there. Hearing you live is awsome. Watching you teach players ranging from pro players to first timers was incredible. You met everyone's needs.

For those of you who respect Jason, consider sponsoring him on Patreon. I'm sure he'd appreciate the support.

Thanks guys I really have no words. I'm simply really grateful to still be alive and have such wonderful friends, family, music, sponsors and especially this harmonica community.
Dennis Gruenling is SO amazing SO incredible I'm often left stunned after hearing him... and I wouldn't even be making or playing music on any real level without Kim Wilson, Rick Estrin and especially Billy Branch. They've all been and are wonderful to me. Thats just the dudes in the category....I listened and listen to everyone like all of you. 100's of hours listening to Pat Ramsey, Adam Gussow, Delay, Del Junco, Howard, Annie Raines, Mad Cat, and all the guys with Muddy and Jimmy Rodgers...Just like everyone here I'm still a big fan like those heavy cats are too which is what is so awesome about the blues and harmonica worlds. Thank you everyone I'm pretty beside myself. I love this forum and Thank you guys.

I think Iceman hit it on the head. Every newer player i meet wants to OB/OD w/out exception.
Q- Didn't Howard Levy once win in the Jazz catagory ?

I don't think the *Blues* Foundation has a jazz award. Howard may have been nominated for a jazz award in the Downbeat polls, and has won a Grammy. (So has another harmonica player, Peter Madcat Ruth).

I meant harp awards like Downbeat polls or Grammys. Should have been more specific.
