Draw bend 4 and while "releasing the bend" hold the "4/5 draw" while saying [do da lat-ta dita dita about 7 times fast]--
Say [do da lat-ta dita dita] as practice and feel what yr mouth n tongue r doing--- try doing [do da lat-ta dita dita] on just the [draw 45] and other draw notes
he's doing it over the first 4 measures of the [I chord] 45 draw in cross harp is the 5 and b7 of the "I Chord" it may work over 4 and 5 chord as well--I d have to check
try doing [draw bend 2 and 3] with [do da lat-ta dita dita] as well over the chord changes
I think its same kinda deal in whammer Jammer harp solo at 2:12 at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLD_Lv98Yyc This triple tounge deal is worth learning.
I think [do-da-la di-ta-la] works over magic dicks
What Magic Dick is doing on Whammer Jammer is NOT the same as what Junior Wells is doing at all. What Dick is doing is more like the way Sonny Terry does it with the tongue beating off the palate at a rapid pace. ---------- Sincerely, Barbeque Bob Maglinte Boston, MA http://www.barbequebob.com CD available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bbmaglinte
Little Walter also does a thing similar to what Dick is doing on two Jimmy Rogers classics:
Listen to one of his solos here on Act Like You Love Me:
Now listen to his comping lines on Chicago Bound:
