I would choose the SM57 instead of SM58.

Don't know about the Cube Street...

i also prefer a 57 mic.... the ultra super 57

I own the Street Cube and like it a lot--more than the Vox Mini 5 it replaced. Some folks say the Shure SM57 has better tone, but I find that the SM58 has similar tone and is much easier to hold in the hands.

a 58 is fine... just remember the inline matching transformer.
