I own a boss dm2w, boss chorus ensemble ce5, dod 440 filter, bbe sonic stomp maximizer, and a nux loop core. Is there a specific order I should be hooking these up? I'm pretty new and spent money before actually learning it first.

Hi

As general, and often valid, rule you have to use this order:

1: filter/dynamic pedals like Whawha, cry, compressor (for me, compressor AFTER wha or cry).
2: preamp/drive pedals in general.
3: EQ
4: Modulation/pitch
5: Delay
6: Reverb
7: Enhancer processor
8: Loop

So, in your case:

dod440 -> ce5 -> dm2w -> SSMax -> nux loop.

You have pretty good pedals, if you add an overdrive you has a complete pedalboard.

Hummm...I thought the BBE Sonic Max is always the last pedal before the amp. Not sure if looping changes that.

So I started experiencing some screeching feedback after I would play a note. This only started happening once I hooked in the dod filter. Not sure if it's the amp or mic or just me haha. I'm using an orange practice amp and an old voice of music mic. Anyone got any thoughts before I try something g like the harp shield?
