I’ve studied this a lot but I’m wondering if anyone has any particular experience with powered speakers for harp and, in particular, RCF gear. Reviews are pretty crazy good on RCF.
I need a powered speaker for my duo primarily for monitor but also to supplement small/medium venues as a main. We use a small powered PA on-stage as our primary monitor and mix (vocals, harp, guitar) and run ONE line out to whatever PA is available. It’s a gloriously manageable strategy for sound and I seriously recommend doing it if your situation warrants it.
I’m buying a powered speaker to up the level when we don’t have PA and to use as a front monitor when we do have PA. But I ALSO want the speaker to serve as a unit I can use for pedals-harp with a big band. Straight pedalboard and/or mic a smaller amp with it.
So far I like the Yamaha DBX, RCF hd12a and the QSC k12.
Any thoughts, trials, tribulations...?

Mike F. does this as his regular rig and says you gotta have 1000 watts. Yes. I’m looking for other particulars. The RCF doesn’t come with much in the way of adjustable controls but I think that’s a good deal if the goal of a speaker is to reproduce what you you send to it.

Dumb question
So if you had your pedals and a DI box, you could just plug into any powered speaker or PA? If that is true would even the cleanest speaker/ PA work as long as your pedals gave you your “color”.

i have used RCF 12" powered speakers for a couple of years with a small 8 channel mixer and it has worked well. I recently added one of there 10 powered speakers for use as a monitor. We run only our vocals thru the PAand on some ocassions when feeling particularly lazy, I run the mic directly into the back of the speaker. RCF are the superior choice of the brands you mentioned, worth the extra $$.

Crawforde : Yes. And that's what I already do with our primary rig. Thank you. But if you wanted a really really good powered speaker to do this... any suggestion?

Obligatory: I am my color.

6sn7, direct to the speaker. Lazy :) Are there any parameters/effects on the model your're using? I assume you'd want some effect on vocals but if you just go direct to the RCF without any that certainly says something.
Lazy made me think of Deep Purple

Littoral, I am not much of expert on effect and such. When I run it thru the mixer, i use a touch of reverb/delay/echo,( whatever they call it.) Running direct thru the speaker I use none, but it gets the job done. I know a lot of people who add a lot of effects on vocals, it sounds like border radio, just too much.
