I wanted to share my new harp case. It’s made from a $39 Turbo Harp Deluxe from Turbo Harps Site. I pulled out the foam on the bottom of the case and replaced it with ¾ inch high pieces of plastic I cut out of a cheap plastic office trash can. Between the 7 plastic slats and the plastic ends I epoxied in pieces of rubber ¼ inch thick and 11/16 wide and ¾ high. This makes room for two rows of harps x 8 harps in each row. I left the top half alone. It holds harps tightly. Then I put a ½ inch thick open celled foam to keep the harps from moving at all when being carried. The case is 7 ¼ x 9 ? x 3 ¾. Photos here. Mule.47 shared the album Harp Case1 with you from the Flickr app! Check it out

Good on you! I have one like the Mississippi Sax cases. Sort of a 2/3 size brief case. Double row top and bottom for diatonics, I have maybe 18 in there, then 3 chromatics and other stuff in the other side. Not real fancy (the inner tray is held together with duck tape), but it works and has for about 7-8 years now.

Don't know how to post pictures of these or I would.
I usually use a case Hal Iwan (Michigan harp player) built for me - crocodile exterior, with foam cut outs for 19 diatonics, one chromatic, a bullet mic, and pedal. Unfortunately he sold the business and now it has disappeared. But in case you run in to Hal, here is a link to comments about his cases. https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/harp-l/OC6NWttJR30
For just carrying a few I use this "Last Supper Lunch Box". Always gets a notice or two. http://ncadjarmstrong.com/year-2-media-cultures-print/ ---------- BnT

Good job! I am a hoarder of bags and cases, so this gives me some ideas to make myself a harp case.
