A friend owns an amp of that name, and he has intimated that I could use it, after some servicing. I´ve never heard of it but my ignorance is vast, as witnessed from other topics.

Anyone know of this one, or has experience of it from the harmonica perspective?
It´s supposedly only one big speaker.

Personally I've never heard harmonicist with this piece of gear. This is an heavy monster. Honestly, why you don't go straight on a "well-know" solution like the Fender Blues Junior? Maybe this one has less power but can works for you. If you need a monster you have to address to the bassman which is a well-know solution for harps player. But...if you can try for free this amp, let us your opinions...

Yes Dox, it´s supposed to be really heavy, but that´s not in itself a reason against it at this point.
A Blues Junior is tried and discarded -- neither volume nor good sound. Maybe tube swaps and such would help but that´s beyond me, I´m afraid.

If I can arrange a transport I might try it, and will report on the results.

Ok, I'm curious...have you evaluated the bassman?

@Dox: Nope. It turned out that what was indicated to me as an unused Bassman residing in the basement of one of the bandmembers, actually was this "Studio Bass" ... Hm. These are guys who owns too much equipment, don´t even know what they have.
I will try it, but first I´m taking a shot at a Mustang 100 W.
