Happy Holidays everyone! Its very difficult to escape Christmas and Christmas music this time of year. I feel like I have all of those Christmas tunes stuck in my head all at once everyday. Each year I find myself rocking with the familiar melodies on my harp. My all time favorite is "White Christmas" by The Drifters.
What is your favorite Christmas/Holiday tune to play on your harmonica? If you don't have one tell us your least favorite song and how you have come to hate it!
Also please enjoy my take on my favorite tune, White Christmas. Please share your covers too!
As much as traditional Christmas songs go, I have no preference. However, I like alot of the traditional Christmas songs that my grandparents listened to prior to coming to America from Poland. Many songs performed there aren't known here, unless you perform them to seniors who came to America when they were young. Just have to make sure you can read music because tabs don't exist in much of the music originating from those countries.
Well, this is cheating, but . . . I am planning on playing it on Friday at my nursing home gig--it's their holiday party. I have the guitar prerecorded on a looper, that's not on this video. PS I dug out the three harmonicas required for the performance and am rehearsing it for this year--hope you like it!
