I have a passion for studying, documenting and devising alternate tunings for harmonica. Much of my work can be seen at http://www.brendan-power.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=9.

However, my playing ability is not good enough to fairly test my ideas. What I seek is someone who:

(1) Sees merit in some of my tunings.
(2) Has the chops, and the interest, and the time to try them out and interact with me as I try to move the ideas forward.
(3) Must speak--and enjoy speaking--at least basic music theory.
(4) A big bonus would be someone who is within reasonable driving distance of central Iowa, USA.

(Note: Some folks feel that non-performers need/should not work on tunings. I reserve the right to disagree.)

This is a no-obligations, no-money, no-profit venture. For edification and sharing only.

Interested? Know someone who might be? Just email.
