Hey all. Need help with the harp part on this song. I had it pretty good about 6 month ago playing with a friend in F on a Bb harp. I've misplaced all my notes and haven't been able to practice. I'm looking up tabs and listening but I just am having trouble getting it back. Any help would be wonderful! Thanks all!!!!

If you´re looking to play like Delbert did on the original, I think it was in 1 pos on an A harp.

Yup, 1st pos A harp. Mostly blow notes up around 6,7
going down to 5. Just need to feel it out by ear.
It's really sloppy, seems like he was making it up on the spot. Singer and harp step all over each other.
I got to play this harp part in our local 'Dirty Dancing Burlesque Show'. Difficult to concentrate...:)

Depends on which version you're looking at. When Delbert recorded with the Ron-Dels, it was in Ab. Live with Bruce Channel in E and the 1962 version by Bruce was in A...take your pick!
