Is badass. I want one badly. But I also remember everybody getting burned with the B-Radical. Anybody know when these will be available for real? All I see now is pre-order.

I know a cup works too...but it is pretty clear it does not work as well, nor is it particularly intuitive to use.

I'm racking my brains for ways of making my own since I'm so impatient for this.

I know Roly, he won't let you down. They are shipping early November. I can't wait to get mine!

After watching Roly's video I wondered how much of it was Roly's chops -they are very good!- and how much of it was the mute thingy. I've heard a few players sound just like that w/out a device. Jerry Portnoy comes to mind on his Master Class instructional. Anyway, please review device. Roly asked me to like his page and I had to say well..."I never tried it' :-)

The Harp Wah should be pretty simple to mass produce, unlike the B-Radical harp, and the price is reasonable, so there should not be any problems.

I pre-ordered one as soon as I saw Roly's demos on Facebook.

Concerning playing into cups, I like trying different ones and materials... I've made my own from aluminum beer bottles that have a thicker gauge metal than aluminum cans, making them strong and harder to crush... tried various lengths as well... they work great !

But a cup is a "resonator" as well as a "mute" that the Harp Wah is being promoted as (not as a resonator).

I'm looking forward to getting mine, and trying it out !

Yeah, Roly Platt is a great player, and that definitely helps making a great sound !

THanks AirMojo, I'll try that with the aluminum beer cans. What was your experience with different length?

I'd love to see a video of an intermediate player with the Harp Wah. Roly is crazy solid.
