Roger Chapman, that powerful voice with the acquired taste goat bleating vibrato, lead singer for Family and then as a solo artist with The Short List, plays pretty good diatonic - not blues, but he is definitely a no doubt bend to pitch type player- especially hole 3 inhale second bend sustained!

US folks will be unfamiliar, but Brits and Europeans know about Chappo. Would be interested in any revues of live shows you guys across the pond may like to share. I saw Family at a German outdoor rock fest in '71 or '72, and I must say that the records do not do a good job of capturing their power and talent!

Harmonica popped up in "Music in a Doll's House" and "Family Entertainment", as well as on Chappo's solo recordings.
