So i have bought a Vox MV50 (a 50W micro amp)the 'Clean version',to use basically as a PA driven by a Harp Break.
I have bought a C/rex but i am looking for a 10" to partner it with in a custom cabinet
Any recommendations for a suitable match?
Only limitation is that it has to be an Eminence because down here in NZ the only speakers available off the shelf are Eminence.Importing a another brand down here is like
importing a ton of lead into the US.
Anyway i am thinking the 'lil buddy' or the 'Rajin Cajun'
Am i on the right track?
TIA
Edit: don't know how the 46 got into the header.

It depends on what sound you are looking for with the cab. The Lil' Buddy is a little darker in frequency than the Ragin' Cajun. I personally like the Lil' Buddy for my amplified playing.

Recently, due to a venue PA failure, I had to play and sing an acoustic gig through my "sit-in amp" rig I had in my truck at that time: a Lil' Buddy driven by an EH 44 Magnum. With my Ultimate 58 in a stand at full volume through a transformer (singing and playing back from the mic to avoid proximity effect) it turned out much better than I had feared. I would have brought my own PA if I had advance notice of the venue PA failure, but we made do. The show must go on!

The vocals on later songs when I sang through the rig were not super dark as I had feared, and the acoustic harp sounded fine. The video (really audio over a cat video) I posted of "Dark End of the Street" in the "chromatic blues" thread was played through that setup, acoustically and back from the mic. The guitar and vocals of my friend were through a Loudbox. It was in a larger mid sized room, with the Lil' Buddy tilted way back to disperse the sound. It worked surprisingly well as a PA.
