Here's a video in which a tuba player who contacted me offers up his take on triple tonguing for the harmonica player. I told him I would share here.



Please comment, but also please share other videos, if you know of any, that focus on the specific question of fast tonguing technique and/or exercises for pucker players.

In Harmonica For Dummies, Second Edition, I address double and triple tonguing for both lip and tongue block embouchures.

It would seem to me that this technique is more useful if it is employed while moving from hole to hole (note to note) instead of on a single hole/note.

Keep in mind that if combined with rapid change in direction of diaphragm movement, you can move between blow and draw holes/notes very rapidly.
