I don't play out as much I'd like, and rarely am I called on to play blues. That being said, I was asked to guest with a hill country duo. It was a bit of a challenge as many of the arrangements were in a style that was consistent with playing solo, and I knew none of the tunes.

I had a ton of fun for playing over an hour with guys I just met. They were freakin' great!





In contrast, this was a "blues" gig I was asked to do a couple weeks before that (more typical of what I get to play).
