Here´s another one from that "Swedish blues" project I´m involved in, although it´s not very bluesy. A Marvin Gaye tune that was covered by Butterfield Blues Band, with a creative bass figure from ... Rod Hicks, I believe he was called?

Don´t worry, I won´t be flooding the forum with stuff that I´ve participated in, but I can say that the harp part on this one is a quite bit tricker than what I linked to the other day, "Rollin´and tumblin´".
If it works is, of course, another story.

I'm pretty sure Butter played third position on this one but I could be wrong. I usually use a C harp to play along with the recording.

This one is a bit of a toughie, due to that half step key change, and there´s a version on YT where Butterfield makes a terrible mess of it. (In third pos, as I remember it, like you, Diggsblues)

Don´t have a harp in hand right now and can´t say for certain but I played it either in 4th, then switching to 11th; or 5th switching to 12th. (Both half-step shifts gives you accessible major.)
It´s a few years back so can´t recall which off the top of my head, but I´m not very skilled at swift harp switching so I avoid that.

Hi Martin, - I'm not on here as regularly as I had been - so hadn't heard you up till now. That is some fucked up shit your playing on that piece. (it's a compliment) Fantastic tone (Gruenling-esque) to start with, - then whatever positions / changes your doing to pull off that very challenging and creative lead. I'm impressed. It took a while to get into the Swedish-Punk-Ska thing the band is doing with the song. I din't particularly love the 'chop' approach at first - but it's pretty cool- and certainly an original approach.

It is 3rd pos. I've been doing with our band. The Ford Bros. have a good version on their tribute to Paul Butterfield CD

For some reason I always played it w/ a Db in third. I'm not sure it is correct.
