I have no idea, but I just ordered one from Rockin Rons, so in a couple days I may be able to tell you. :)

I don't know, but they have tons of screw holes.

Easttop follow the Seydel screw pattern, which is a good one for even pressure on the comb. However their hole spacing is the standard 7.5mm used by Hohner, Suzuki etc whereas Sydel spacing is 8mm.

To answer your question, the short answer is "None, exactly". Easttop reedplates will fit combs made for Hohners and Suzukis, but you'll need to drill new screw holes. Hope that helps.

Lots of new holes would be needed! They have more reed plate screws than any diatonic harp I have ever opened.

I haven't yet tried out other combs as the stock combs seem pretty flat (yes, there are sometimes dimples in the plastic, but they don't overlap the slots or seem to impact function). If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I have found that the Easttop COVERS can be replaced with MS covers without changing the cover holes. However, the support tabs must be bent in a little in back. The Easttops are narrower from front to back than are the MS harps. There is nothing wrong with the stock covers, I just found that I personally don't care for the powder coated covers and had old MS covers available.

I said above: "(yes, there are sometimes dimples in the plastic, but they don't overlap the slots or seem to impact function)"

@1847
The plates appear to lay flat on the flat sanded surface surrounding the slots, and the sunken areas do not seem to touch the slots.

Do you find that the depressions evident in your photo (that I saw before when you posted this photo, and also that I have seen on the combs of my Easttops) cause leakage from the plates?

They don't seem particularly leaky to me, though not as tight as a Manji, Special 20, MBD, or Crossover in my opinion. Actually, with regard to the air it takes to play my riveted Easttops, they remind me of my Seydel 1847s on unmodified stock wood combs. My Easttops cost me under $25 each, and my Seydel 1847s $89, if I recall. My Session Steels seem tighter.

On my Easttops and in your picture, the dimpled/depressed areas do not seem to extend to where the plate meets the comb (EDIT:) slots.

Doug makes an important point:

Absolute flatness is unnecessary for airtightness.

But wait a minute, let me put that in a bigger context.

Depressions that look like puddles, and don't allow leakage from the comb channels do not appear to affect airtightness.

However, that's assuming that some combination of lack of flatness of both the comb surface and the reedplate don't team up to cause leaks from overlapping puddles.

Now, it *might* also be that the greater reedplate-to-comb contact occasioned by absolute flatness of *both* comb and reedplate might contribute to some improvement in sound independent of airtightness . But that's a different subject.
