He can do it all, as shown here. Very funny guy, very nice guy and was first call Nashville session cat for many years until he got religious and now uses his talent in preaching the gospel.

I really like a well rounded talent and find his LONG TONES to be quite beautiful, as well as his mastery of staccato.

(btw, his last name IS Greene - misspelled in this youtube video title)

Excellent musician and a really sweet guy. He's become a fixture at SPAH conventions the last few years, and received the Bernie Bray Harmonica Player of the Year award in 2014.

Yep, Buddy's a top notch player. Really excels at fast and clean playing. I met him in the early 80's at a party shortly after we had both moved to Nashville. He was playing with country legend Jerry Reed at the time. At that time "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" was one of my "party trick" tunes. I did a nice enough rendition of it and then Buddy mopped the floor with me with his rendition of "William Tell Overture". He was probably holding back. I like to think that I motivated him to do his nicer and now internet-famous version of Jesu but probably not.

Buddy was always more than friendly and treated me as a contemporary during my years in Nashville, even though he was altogether on a different level. Even threw me some session work a couple times. He also co-wrote the inspired Christmas classic "Mary Did You Know".
