My wife, who works in a hospital as a chaplain, was just discussing with me the possibility of combining music therapy with vibration healing as is discussed in this article. I will forward the link to her. (She does not read harmonica forums :-) )

My wife says my harmonica causes her pain and irritation. It's nice to see sound can be beneficial too.

I bought a Pulmonica for my wife's mom. I thought it would be more fun to use that the breathing exercise aperatus that the doctor wants her to use, but she doesn't. She has the Pulmonica a bit. She played it in front of my wife for the first time last night. I thought she might use it more, but it does not seem to have captured her fancy.

I have noticed that when I am congested with a cold. playing chords on a low harp does seem to help.

For hundreds or maybe thousands of years chants have been used for healing. This is all based on frequency and vibration. Really science we are starting to understand.
