Cheers, Indigo.

I really felt SBW's character and commanding presence seeping through. I stopped multitasking for once and paid attention. Also hit replay. I especially like the last part.

Yeah for sure he had 'presence' in spades...even BB states that he was a bit intimidated by him.
What gets me is his mastery of the harp at such a low volume. And talk about micro tones...he seemed to find notes that don't actually exist..but they sure fit.
Best quote: "those white boys sure want to play the blues real bad..and they do"
Mind you he seemed real happy with the the guys backing him in this video, maybe it was the 'Blues Bands'like the Animals,Yardbirds etc that he played with on that tour that didn't impress him.
"Help me" is still my favourite tune/groove ..tis the blues.

Great video.

Notice SBW starts out doing the fingers in the covers technique. That still drives me nuts as to his motives for doing this so often. Walter Horton does it alot too.

How do you feel when Rick Estrin does the fingers in the covers technique?
