I released this version on my 2011 album "Southbound," but I thought I'd give it a second life on YouTube. I played a C harp and F harp on this one.

Thanks, guys. That's Bill Perry, a local keyboard player here in Oxford, MS. Jazz guy. His father is Bill "Howl-N-Madd" Perry, the blues guitarist/singer who was a key part of Hill Country Harmonica.

Here's Bill doing his jazz thing. My 6-year-old son does a bit of freestyle dancing in the middle of the vid:

Listened to this last night and liked it a lot. I listened to a bunch more stuff off that album which I didn't know existed actually.
Fantastic playing.
You also had a harp solo competition where who ever did the best cover of the harp solo you did in "Im tore down" would win $100.
Just a killer solo and a nice tone too. I must have listened to it about 10 times in a row.

I think the note you're looking for is the 2 draw half-step bend, which I roll up to from the whole step bend....

Hmm, I'm not actually sure. Please specify the minute/second point in the solo where the note happens.

I think that's the one. Something about swooping up on the three was messing with my brain; then I looked up the tabs and get even more messed up. Fortunately I found a video by this guy on YouTube...
