Hi-- I didn't watch all of the Grammy Awards tonight, but my wife had it on, so I heard a bit (including Adele getting do-overs!). Was there any harmonica at all this year? Lots of dancers, and some fire, and of course a bunch of singers (and rappers, looked like many of them sang). No Jason this year . . . but was harp represented at all? Even Mick Jagger would have been welcome! Or Shakira! Carrie Underwood was there, did she play harp?

Bobby Rush won for best tradition blues album "Porcupine Meat". He's a harmonica player (usually chromatic) but I haven't heard the album and don't know how much harp, if any, is on it.
There is a separate, non-televised daytime ceremony for the awards that aren't considered prime time material. I suspect that blues falls in that category. =========== Winslow
Well, harmonica is not exclusively a blues tool, and I would like to see it presented to the masses whenever possible. I am gathering, however, that it was not a part of this year's Grammy event. Come on Winslow, make a record and change all that!
