Good News for Harp Players, the Columbus Blues Harp Clinic is back for 2017. Brian Peters, of Deuce and a Quarter band will be hosting this event. It's in Columbus Ohio on Saturady March 25 noon until five. This year it will be held at the Daniel Q Crease Multicultural Center 2475 Old Brice Rd. Columbus, OH 43068

Brian is a Windy City Amp endorser and he will have their line available for you to test drive. As in the past you re welcome to buy, sell, trade. We'll have Beginers classes, basic maintenance, first and second position classes.

In addition to Brian, we expect to have several pro players on hand to answer your questions.

A five dollar admission covers the use of the hall.

If you are interested in teaching, we'd like to hear from you. We may be able to help with travel costs. Contact me, Ted Reich, thelonesomeharpman@gmail.com

Hi KC, Dan has moved to Florida. Looks like we might have some of Columbus's best at this one. Big Mike Gillian, and Dave Gastel.

Now that's a great lineup. I got to hang out with Dave and study some blues recently. I think Dave is going to make it to Harmonicollege in WVA this April. I would sure hate to miss hearing Mike. last time I talked with Mike he was wanting to contact Greg at "Blows Me Away" about a bullet mic. I'll do my best to be there! Keep the updates comin!!!

Every year for the past I don't know how many years I have had gigs the same weekend as Jim's event. This year, at least so far, it's an open date and I'm only playing with one band. I really enjoyed the few that I have attended sure hope to see some of you old timers there.

I have my calendar marked for the 25th and a trip to Columbus. I'll share what I know with anyone wanting to ask.

I'll also be ready to jam some.

All is well with the Clinic, we are good to go! Jim, please stay flexible in what you will be teaching. I think we need to see what playing level our attendees are at. I'd like the class sizes very small.
