Thanks Konstantin,

I heard you have a cool album coming out soon too :)
Do you use overblows or a special tuning ?

Thank you for interest David. I used my tuning on it and of course Richter-tuned harmonica too :)

I like that groove.
Nice guitar riff and mix, doubled on the harp with nice call and response.
Great playing all round!

I'd like to hear some FX on the harp though, nothing heavy just some tweaks for more spacey groove fx.
But that's just my taste.

Thanks for the nice words Komuso,

I play and programmed all the instruments on this track except for sax and congas. I really like this type of groove too inspired by the great Peter Erskine.

As far as effects my orientation for this album was to use subtle effects and I do use a bit of distortion but I mostly go for a clean acoustic sound because that's really my conception of the harmonica acoustic. I like to crank it up sometimes if it fits but you get so much more dynamics and natural effects when you play acoustic.

And I agree with you it's really a matter of taste :)

I have a few other vids for this album

Thanks !
