Here is a live studio recording of a Romanian tune with Irish-based gypsy jazz group The Tolka Hot Club. It's not blues but it is bluesy, so (moderators), feel free to tell me not to include it. Melody and then solos on violin, guitar and chromatic harmonica (at 2:50). Something slightly out of sync with the video but it's all the one take, no overdubs etc. I hope you enjoy it - turn it up!

Harmonica is the most important word in the site title. If it's got harmonica it is fine (which it does). If it's got blues it's fine too. (And there are lots of posts that are old timey that we enjoy just fine.)

I enjoy this. One of the forum members, J-Sin, does a lot of arabic sounding music (sometimes crossed with hair metal!), on diatonic. He always amazes me.

I've got two harmonic minor harps that I use for a couple Klezmer sounding numbers.

This was fun to listen to.

Cool. I've been listening to a lot of gypsy jazz at my computer at work lately. Really helps the afternoon drag seem not so bad.

Lots of button work on that. Sounds great.

Thanks fellas, and to the forum for being open. Yeah, really getting into gypsy jazz for the last while with this band especially. Indeed plenty of button pressing on that tune!

I enjoy JSin's stuff too.

Thanks again for listening.
