Check out his autobiography. "Man of Constant Sorrow". Interesting read. As a former bluegrass mandolinist and singer, ralph was one of my vocal heroes. So much soul.Saw him perform live when he was 85 and he blew me away.

I greatly enjoy his music.

At our weekly Monday night Hootenanny in Urbana this week one local performer played/sang a set of RS songs with a pickup band of appreciative local musicians.

Lots of applause...

I enjoy hillbilly blues as well as honky-tonk music, jug band music, traditional blues, urban blues, jump and swing, country, rock, folk, and even some jazz if it has an accessible chord structure.

Thanks for posting.
