I felt I should make an observation about posting messages that came as a revelation to me. Maybe there are other Dirty South stupidos who might benefit by revealing what an idiot I am.

After making nearly 700 posts over I can't recall how may years I never until my penultimate one noticed the little sizing handle on the lower right corner of the editing window.

All this time I've either used the forum's original postage stamp sized editing window or used an eternal editor (which is probably still be the best way for longer posts). I never realized there was the option to edit viewing more than a 60 character by 15 lines at a time.

So there. For the benefit of mankind I've opened my Kimono for all to see what a colossal dummy I am.

Michelle

I would like to know more about your eternal editor. It sounds like it might come in handy for these internet indiscretions that come back to bite you years later! ;-)

Thanks for the tip, I had never noticed that before either, but I just used and external editor.

IT took me a while to find this option but now that I see it, it is so sensible to be there. Thanks for opening my eyes Michelle!

Don't feel bad. I've got over 8000 posts and I never noticed it! Good catch. :)

Well that rocks! Next you're going to tell us there's a little edit tag on your own messages so you can fix them! Hey! Wait a minute, there it is!

And I never noticed that nacoran now has a lot more posts than me, and may well become the first 10K poster on the forum.

Yes, I noticed that expansion thingie at some point, at year or two ago. Nice little trick, isn't it? I just used it now.

I just started taking my walks again after a year+ of toe problems. Only 2.6 miles, but I'm hoping to extend them. I'll have to see if I can do 10k walks before I hit the 10k mark. :)

(I actually had one a couple years ago when I tried to find a 'shortcut'. I was even starting to run the first half of the 2.6 mile walk occasionally. This silly toe has been such a pain. All better now though!)

Nate, do you play harp while you walk? I find the breathing discipline of playing the harp improves the exercise and the rhythm of walking improves your musical timing.

Stme58, sometimes, if my asthma isn't too bad. It also helps with swelling I get in my hands. I guess it's not too uncommon, if you are swinging your arms to get some swelling. When you see people walking with their hands by their chests I guess that's why. But then you look silly... unless you are playing harmonica!

Wow. I've been posting here for years and years, and I had never even thought that that would be a possibility. It's almost TOO high=tech for this board, lol! :) :)

@nacoran: Whoah! Didn't notice how close you are to 10k posts!! Me, my posting frequency has dropped off a bit recently. Work, life, etc. all get in the way. At least I'm past 3K though!! Lol!
