Say, I were to live in the US for a year, and were to buy a harpgear hurricane (btw: it seems like I would be the only one.. that thing is never mentioned!). How would I get it back to Europe? As handluggage? Do I have it shipped? Must I pay taxes? And if so: it would not be new, but how much must I declare?

Can anyone point me in the right direction towards reading the relevant regulations about this?

Thanks!

If it fits thru the xray machine and in the overhead or under the seat you can carry it on.

You can check it but it will get thrown on a conveyor and down a steep ramp. Not recommended

We dont care what you take out of the country-only what you bring in as far as customs goes.

Your customs will assess all duties ,taxes, etc
