Tomlin is giving these out on FB.
They seem pretty good so far.

Nice one, Killa - and thanks Tomlin. Have to check them out properly once I find some spare time.

I've learned quite a bit from Tomlin's vids because, while he might not be in quite the same league as Adam, Ronnie, Christelle, Lee, and some others as a player, I find he has a great teaching style. I especially liked his earlier vids, where he reminded me of Neil from "The Young Ones" (ask your Brit pals ;) ) , but even now, where he has kind of "professionalised" his style, I still find his teaching easy to follow.

Probably the worst backing tracks I've heard in a long time. These might've been up to standard 10 years ago, but not now.

Waste of time, these were.

Maybe I'm missing something, but isn't the point of backing tracks to give you something to practise along to? If so, I don't see why you can't play along now to something you could've played along to 10 years ago.

If, on the other hand, you're looking for quality tracks for other uses, don't be so frickin' stingy, and get your wallet out.

I think they are pretty good. A little different to the usual.

I had a look at his sample lesson too. I think his style is nice and straightforward. Very much at the beginner end of things that one.

Yea, begginer side. They re ok. I checked out his lesson on Hortons - Have A Good Time. The way he teaches it will work, but i can figure out the basic notes myself. I watch lessons for the nuances. And his lessons have None.

Plus ... I know it's not very nice, but for some reason ... I just dont like the kid. Im sorry. It's totally for no reason, but i can't help it. Sorry buddy, but ....

LOL. I know what you mean, kHz. I think it's because he seems to try too hard to make people like him - kinda rubs some people up the wrong way.

How boring life would be if we were all the same, huh? ;)

Yea i agree, It would be boring if we were all the same. I have some ideas as to what the cause of it is, but i don't want to turn this into a thing attacking the poor guy. I just had to get that out. Sorry Tomlin. No offense buddy.

Thanks for the backing tracks. Lol.

(God that's even worse. The poor guy gives us free stuff and all i can say is how much he bugs me. SMH ...what a dick. )
