Im buying back my Epiphone valve junior--it was modded by another guy ---with better tubes for harp---and a tone control to cut some highs---I forget all the details--will review them later

at any rate--If I get a 10" spkr and build a-cab for or it--
1] open or closed back?
and or insulation if closed?

2] best wood ?-----

3]4- 8-16 ohm?

4] Weber? Which model? I like that deep chicago cupped sound

Thanks you guys are always helpful

i found one used $175.00 delivered to my door. if you call wgs sometimes they have scratch and dent items.
this is a very good sounding speaker. i put it in my bassman. i will at some point buy another
brother and sister lol.

in my opinion most 10 inch speakers are quite similar, it's kind of like ice cream
a jensen p10q is like chocolate.... the mojo tone 10 inch is like neapolitan chocolate vanilla and straw berry.
this bad boy is plain vanilla with chocolate fudge and whipped creme
the tone tubby is like chocolate with peanut butter. it is really hard to find a bad speaker.

your amp is most likely 8 ohm, good idea to check. i just bought a cab
had it sprayed with line-x bed liner it was made of pine and open back. i just spray painted the bbq grill i used as a "grill" black. it came out awesome.

The v3 and the head models have options for 4,8 and 16 ohm.
The v3 combo came with a 16 ohm 8" plugged in, but still has outputs for 4, 8 and 16 ohm.
I've had 3 of them, all of which had 3 output jacks. Pretty versatile in that way.
The best sound came from the head with the separate 12" cab.
I run mine through a closed back 8 ohm 12" Plessey Rola, or through a twin 8" open back cab. I like the 12" better but it is probably a matter of taste. The twin 8"s are pretty aggressive sounding. Grates with me after awhile. But I don't really like that kind of music.
