I used the E harp 3 or 4 times per gig for 2 years. The boss loved playing in B so we did a bunch of tunes. I grew to love the E harp - I have a marine band in E that is without a doubt the best OOTB harp I've ever owned- it plays almost as well as a custom and it's never been apart. One of those magic Hohners that come your way once in a great while. I have a low E Special 20 that plays like a turd.

We did Red House in B and opened with a unison riff that was awesome- then traded 4s for several measures at the end. Love that tune- love that harp and miss that band.

In my old band it seemed like most slow blues where in B. For a long time I used a Huang that played so well.

The high E harp is often my favourite harmonica. Owned several of them that were really satisfying. Strangely enough I´ve never liked the (high) F ...
