Andrew Alli came to Hill Country Harmonica a few years back--you can find a video or two; a harp amp test--and showed impressive spirit. Youth spirit, I'd call it. He's been working on his stuff ever since, and he's starting to draw notice. He's trying to take the common stock, including some third position licks that many here will recognize, and do his own thing with them. I see he's teaching a class on 12 bar blues next week at Davis & Elkins College for blues and swing week.
