Coming up next Saturday, I have the pleasure of appearing with a live band, organized by Steve Torok (saxophonist and bandleader) for this performance, a dance concert in Temecula featuring the music of Supertramp--I am proud to contribute harmonica to "Take the Long Way Home", as well as singing a little background.
This part is pretty easy, and I have it nailed. Still . . . wish me luck!
I used to play along with that song in the late 70's early 80's when all I had was 3 harps and a radio. Good memories! You'll do great Gnarly. Kick ass! ---------- http://www.reverbnation.com/jawboneandjolene
My biggest challenge will be on the song "Goodbye Stranger"--the lead singer (who sings beautifully in Roger Hodgson's key) will also be covering Rick Davies' vocal, so I have to cover on the "Goodbye Mary, Goodbye Jane" part--goes up to high C, yikes! I'm a baritone, dammit!
