I'm going to be teaching at the Edinburgh Harmonica Workshop (July 22-24) and my co-teachers are Christelle Berthon, Liam Ward, and Tomlin Leckie. I wasn't familiar with Liam's playing, and his name, according to the forum search, has never been mentioned here. So I went looking and found this:
There's a lot of interesting stuff going on here. I'd like to know more about him. Liam, are you a member here? Please enlighten us. If you're not--well, Kingley and others, can you bring us up to speed?
Is this Edinburgh Scotland Adam? If so I know a hell of a lot of good regular gigging harp players from Scotland, but Liam is new to me. Sounds like a cool player though. ---------- http://www.reverbnation.com/#!/alprice
I met Liam when he gave a workshop at the Bristol Harmonica Festival in October. As Ridge says, 'he's a really nice guy'. He is in a folk/blues band called The Rumblestrutters and also writes a really good harp players article in The Blues Matters magazine.
Just wanted to say I've really enjoyed your YouTube videos. I've found them really useful for learning harp, and they're presented in an easy to follow and friendly way. I'd recommend them to other beginners.
All the best for the workshop.
P.S. That's not to take anything away from Adam's videos, which are great, and have helped me a lot too.
