Wouldn't it be cool if Lone Wolf Blues made a small battery and AC powered amp for street use that could match or even be better than the HOG 20 or the Roland micro cube. With all the rave reviews on you tube that I have seen for the Harptrain40 I'm sure it wouldn't be to much of a stretch for LWB to design it with his BALLS frequency
that would be a top Item on my Personal Wish List Especially if the price was right

We have a couple other amp ideas in the pipeline (in addition to the HT10 and HT40), but a battery powered amp is not something that we've put any thought into. If it seems like something a lot of people would like, though, then we may look into it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Another idea would be to sell the components to the 6l6 and 3X6V6SE as kits.

I'm planning to build the 6l6 in the coming year, and even if the price was a bit more expensive, I'd buy a kit rather than hunting down all those parts.

You might even sell it minus the speaker and enclosure as many folks might want to choose their own.

@Cotton
The biggest obstacle I see there is cost. We would probably have a hard time competing with things like the micro cube price wise due to being such a small business. I'll definitely run it by Randy, though, and we'll look into feasibility.

@Stevetech
That is a good idea. The 3x6V6 is actually a production idea we are tossing around (way in the future, though. We are 100% focused on the HT10 and HT40 at present). I'll run the idea by Randy. The 6L6 project is something we are less likely to do, for sure, because the HT10 is the spiritual successor to that amp. He used everything he learned from that build and design to design something that he felt was an improvement upon it.

@Nathan- That's cool I have a wish list of my own as well though I really didn't specify it. Though the whole battery power and ac power option are at the top of the list. I'm looking for a bare bones style amp set up-Don't really need a lot of special effects built in because I have the ones that I really want on my pedal board- just a volume control and balls circuit- maybe 10 watts though 3 OR 5 would be ok to match the cube a place to hold the cord and charger would be good too- along with a nifty way to carry the amp with some kind of sling set up and two inputs for harp and vocal mics
I am trying to save up money to get a harptrain 10 but I had to get the bullitized 545 mic from Blows Me Away first. (which I absolutely love)
